Frigauge — Shipping Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Where we ship from

All Frigauge orders ship from the United States.

Hazardous materials handling

Refrigerants are U.S. DOT–regulated hazardous materials (typically Class 2.2 compressed/liquefied gas; certain A2L refrigerants such as R-32, R-454B, and R-1234yf are mildly flammable). Every cylinder is packaged, marked, labeled, and shipped in compliance with 49 CFR by qualified hazardous-materials carriers. This is required by law and is why refrigerant cannot ship by standard parcel methods.

Processing and delivery time

Orders are processed once your account certification has been verified (see our Terms of Service). Our standard delivery estimate is approximately 15 days from the date an order is accepted, subject to product availability and carrier hazmat handling. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Shipping charges

Hazmat shipping costs are calculated at checkout . Any cylinder deposits or surcharges will be shown before you complete your order.

Delivery address and receipt

To meet carrier hazmat requirements, we ship to commercials. Delivery should be received by an authorized person on your account. Inspect every cylinder on arrival.

Damaged, leaking, or short shipments

Do not use a leaking or damaged cylinder. Isolate it, follow the product Safety Data Sheet, and contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can arrange a replacement or resolution. Report any shortage within the same window.

International shipping

For shipments outside the United States, you are the importer of record and are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs clearance, import licenses, and compliance with your country's refrigerant rules (such as EU/UK F-Gas or Canada's halocarbon regulations).
